Online Registration: Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I have a username and password?

If you are unsure if you have an account, click the "SIGN IN/REGISTER" link at the top of the online registration home screen, click the “If you have an account with us, but you’ve forgotten your username, please click here” link, and type in your email address. If you have an account, your username will be emailed to you. If you type in an email address that is not in our system, you will receive an error message and will need to click the "Add an Account" to register online.

*Please note: If you request a new account, register for any programs, purchase a fitness membership or reserve a facility when visiting any Parks and Recreation location, the system will generate an online account for you.

2. What is my username and password?

If your account was created in person while visiting a Parks & Recreation facility, your username defaults to the primary email address on your account.

3. Am I resident or a non-resident?

A resident is a person living inside the municipal Town of Holly Springs limits who pays a Town water bill or taxes.

A non-resident is a person living outside the municipal Town of Holly Springs limits who does not pay a Town water bill or taxes.

It is possible to have a Holly Springs mailing address and not be a Town of Holly Springs resident.

*Please note the online registration system will check your address. If your address shows up as a non-resident and you want to appeal your residency status, please provide proof of residency, such as a Holly Springs water bill or tax statement at the Hunt or Cultural centers, or Bass Lake Park office.

4. How do I create an account?

On the online registration home page, click the “Add An Account” button at the top of the screen. You will be prompted to enter your account information, including the primary contact for your household’s account and additional family members. Please allow up to 72 hours for your account to be activated, which will allow you to register online for programs.  Click here for detailed instructions.

You also may create an account in person at any Parks and Recreation facility during normal operating hours. If you create an account in person, your account will be active immediately.  

*Please note: If the program for which you are registering is time sensitive, you may want to consider registering in person.

5. When will I have access to my online account?

If your account was created while visiting a Parks & Recreation facility in person, your account is available immediately.

If you requested a new account online, please allow up to 72 hours for your account to be available. Parks & Recreation staff monitor new account requests daily Monday through Friday during normal business hours. If the activity for which you are registering is time sensitive, you may want to consider registering in person if possible, or you may contact any Parks & Recreation facility to activate your account immediately.

6. How can I update my account after it has been activated?

Once you have logged in, click the "My Account" tab at the top the screen. A drop-down menu will appear, and you can select different options under the "My Account" sub-menu.

  • Household & Member: update phone numbers and email addresses
  • Account Settings: update username/login, password and primary email address

Under the "Update" sub-menu, select "Documents" to upload a birth certificate, military documentation, proof of residency, etc. 

6. Document Upload

If you need to add or remove family members, please email pr.registration@hollyspringsnc.us and include the family member’s name, gender, birthday and relationship. This change may take up to 72 hours to take effect. If the change is time sensitive, you can call (919) 557-2939 or visit any Parks and Recreation location.

7. How do I submit a birth certificate for youth athletics?

Once you have logged in, click the "My Account" tab at the top the screen. A drop-down menu will appear, and you can select "Documents" under the "Update" sub-menu.

Click the drop down menu for Upload Option and select the appropriate family member. Be sure to include the child’s name in the file description. For example, "Jane Smith birth certificate."

8. How do I search for a program?

Click the "Search" tab at the top of the screen.  A drop down menu will appear and you can select the appropriate activity search type under the "Activities" heading on the left hand side. If you don't see an activity type that fits your needs, select "All Activities." You can narrow your search by using filters on the left of the screen, or click "Search Now" to browse through all activities.

If you know the activity code and section number, select "Register by Code" from the Search menu.  In the HURRAHS, the activity code is the number preceding the hyphen and the section number follows the hyphen.

9. How do I register for a program?

Navigate to the activity for which you would like to register. If the activity is available for registration, it will show as an "Available" status with a green circle icon. Check the box next to that activity under the "Add to Cart" heading. You can select multiple activities before adding them to your cart and checking out. Click here for detailed instructions. 10. How can I withdraw from a program/activity?

You must request a withdrawal in writing to the appropriate program manager. This can be done either in person or via email, but not verbally over the phone. Requests for refunds must be received at least 14 days prior to the start of the activity. Please refer to the Parks and Recreation policy for more details.

11. Can I reserve a facility online?

Tennis court reservations are available up to a week in advance. Click here for detailed instructions.

12. How do I purchase a fitness pass/membership?

Once you have logged in, click the "Search" tab at the top the screen. Select "Membership Search" under the "Memberships" heading. Click here for detailed instructions.

13. Can I purchase tickets online?

Yes, tickets can be purchased online. Once you have logged in, click the "Search" tab at the top the screen. Select "Ticket Search" under the "Tickets" heading.  Results are displayed in a list format. If you prefer to select tickets by performance date, select "Ticket Calendar."

14. Can I reprint receipts?

Yes. Once you have logged in, click the "My Account" tab at the top the screen. A drop-down menu will appear, and you can select different options under the "Reprint" heading.

15. How do I print tax receipts for child care?

Once you have logged in, click the "My Account" tab at the top the screen.  Select "Child Tax Statement" under the "Reports" heading.

Complete the required fields and click "Submit." The document will be emailed to the primary email address on the account’s file.

16. How can I see my transaction history?

Once you have logged in, click the "My Account" tab at the top the screen. Select "My History" under the "History & Balances" heading.

You can choose the type of transaction, i.e. activity, facility reservation, etc., and for which month you would like to run the report. This is emailed to the primary email address on the account.
