The Holly Springs Police Department Cadet Program provides young people the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement. Chartered through the Public Safety Cadet group, a nationally recognized non-profit organization, cadets meet twice a month on Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Holly Springs Police Department.
Teaching integrity, leadership, commitment, responsibility and good citizenship.
Instilling an understanding and appreciation of the justice system, human relations, morality and ethics in the field of law enforcement.
Assisting the Holly Springs Police Department in providing service to the community, especially during times of emergency.
Volunteering, and learning the value of community service.
Interested in Becoming a Cadet?
Applicants to the cadet program must:
Be age 14-20
Have no felony arrests or convictions.
Have no prior misdemeanor convictions.
Have no serious traffic offense convictions.
Have and maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) reported quarterly.
Must be in good standing with their school, work, family, and friends as determined by background/reference check.
