In 2020, Holly Springs purchased 56 acres of prime park land real estate on Cass Holt Road, across the street from Holly Springs High School. The park on Cass Holt Road will be the first park west of N.C. 55 serving our growing community.
Park plan highlights:
Multi-generational indoor recreation center
Outdoor splash pad
Lighted pickleball courts
Lighted basketball courts and turf fields
All wheels skatepark
Accessible Trails and greenways
Picnic shelter, fishing pier and passive park features
The Town is developing ideas for public art in the planned park on Cass Holt Road. Public participation is helping identify unique and meaningful connections between the community and the project site. Both the artist team, Creative Machines, and Town staff held workshops in November 2023, and additional public engagement is planned.
"All Wheels" Skatepark Public Meeting
The Town, along with design consultants from CLH Design and Team Pain Skate Parks hosted a virtual public meeting on in spring 2023 to discuss the proposed "all-wheels" skatepark design.
The Holly Springs community has been involved with the process to develop the conceptual plan for the park on Cass Holt Road. View survey results and the first public participation meeting in 2021, below.
