A new fire station is coming to Holly Springs! To keep up with growth in the northwest region, the Town has unveiled conceptual designs for a permanent fire station that will be opening mid to late 2024 off Woods Creek Road.
The latest architectural drawings of the future Fire Station 3 feature a single-story, 3-bay building, with the ability to house 8 firefighters. It will include modern decontamination technology that pressurizes the apparatus bay to keep contaminants out of living quarters. The fire station will also feature a small touch-down area for Holly Springs Police so they will be able to have a footprint in that quadrant of Town.
Town staff has named the future road leading to the fire station "Cinder Station Road," in honor of the Town's beloved fire dog, Cinder, who has gained popularity throughout the state.
Status: Construction is expected to begin in late Summer 2023 and wrap up in mid to late 2024.
