Parks Bond Referendum Approved by Voters

2023 Parks Bond Approved by Voters

Thank you voters for making your voices heard and approving the 2023 Parks Bond Referendum! So what’s next?

Work on the new park and indoor recreation center on Cass Holt Road is gearing up. Make plans to attend a workshop Thursday,  Nov. 16, 7-8 p.m. at the Holly Springs Cultural Center to share your thoughts about the public art that will be included in the park. Public participation in this hands-on workshop will help identify unique and meaningful connections between the community and the project site. Both the artist team, Creative Machines, and Town staff will be available to guide activities and answer questions.

Other engagement opportunities and design efforts will continue through 2024 with construction expected to begin early 2026 and expected opening in 2027.

Work on park improvements throughout Town, including updated dugouts at Womble Park and the new program pavilion at Sugg Farm, is beginning with an expected completion by 2025.

Be on the lookout for additional public engagement opportunities by visiting our website calendar.
