Parrish Womble Park

The Town of Holly Springs is upgrading its most popular turf playing field in advance of the fall sports seasons.

The Womble Park multipurpose turf field will be closed beginning Monday, June 5 for work that includes replacing the top carpet with brand-new, denser material. New rubber and sand filler will be combined with existing filler that will be cleaned and rejuvenated, giving the turf a fresh bounce. Work is expected to wrap up within a couple months with the new field opening in time for rec soccer season.
