Design and construction of a nearly 3-mile off-street greenway, generally following the path of Middle Creek and connecting the neighborhoods of Arbor Creek, Bridgewater, Woodcreek and Sunset Ridge North.
Visitors soon will be able to enjoy a quiet run or hike on historic property just a stone’s throw from the bustle of downtown Holly Springs! The Mims Park is a 17-acre wooded site with rolling hills, natural springs, and the historic gravesite of Town founder G.B. Alford.
The Utley Creek Greenway project will provide a connection between west and east Holly Springs, traveling from West Ballentine Street near the Oaks of Avent Acres clubhouse, along an existing greenway, through an existing pedestrian tunnel under N.C. 55, to the Morgan Park greenway. The second phase of the greenway project will extend the greenway to the Holly Glen neighborhood.
