Lake Trail

  • The loop around Bass Lake is 1.90 miles with surface made up of primarily mulch.
    • About 1.65 miles of the trail is an easy walk along the lakeshore. Look for waterfowl, osprey, eagles, snakes and turtles. 
    • About .25 miles of the trail is a moderate walk through the woods. Look for many species of trees including pines, oaks and hickory. 
    • Trail begins behind the Nature Center and flows along the shoreline with beautiful views of Bass Lake.

Carl Dean Greenway

  • Paved 1.32-mile walk
  • Travels past Sugg Farm to Grigsby Avenue across from an entrance to the paved Womble Park trails
