Business Park Pump Station & Force Main Improvements
The Town of Holly Springs is upgrading the pump station located at 151 Rough Leaf Lane to serve the area’s drainage basin. This pump station helps transfer wastewater to the Town’s treatment plant. A larger wastewater line (force main) is being installed in existing utility easements through undeveloped land.

Landfill Odor Response
The South Wake Landfill just outside Holly Springs is operated by Wake County and is subject to state regulations. Dial (919) 856-7400 for Wake County Solid Waste or report odor issues directly to Wake County Solid Waste staff and the landfill operator by completing the county’s odor complaint form.

The Holly Springs Hopper microtransit service helps residents get around Holly Springs conveniently and for fares that cost less than a cup of coffee. Similar to Uber and Lyft, microtransit is a ride-sharing service that offers on-demand trips within a designated area.

Water & Wastewater Expansions
The Town is tapping into an additional drinking water resource by partnering with other local municipalities to expand Sanford’s water treatment facility and construct a waterline. Additionally, the Town is expanding wastewater capacity. The projects serve to meet the future needs of the growing Holly Springs community.
