Volunteers in Parks
Holly Springs Parks & Recreation offers volunteer opportunities for all interests. Volunteers help make it possible to provide affordable programs and services for the community. Learn more about the ways you can get involved. Depending on the role, some volunteer positions may have certain requirements including but not limited to a background check. For large groups interested in volunteering together, please contact Kristen Denton to coordinate volunteer opportunities.
Eligibility Requirements
- Each person must submit a completed volunteer application, a signed waiver, and, when required, successfully pass a background screening. Community-wide days of service volunteers are exempt as these opportunities do not have a formal check-in and check-out process.
- Minimum age: For most opportunities, children ages 12 to 15 are welcome with parental and/or staff supervision. Children ages 16 and older may volunteer with adult supervision, such as a club advisor/sponsor.
