As part of the parks bond, funding is slated to extend and connect segments of greenways in various parts of Town. These projects will bring neighborhoods together and improve pedestrian connectivity throughout Holly Springs.
1.21-Mile Greenway Segment in Northeast Holly Springs
This new trail will connect the Wescott, Creekside, and Sunset Oaks neighborhoods in Holly Springs with the Town of Cary’s proposed Camp Branch Greenway. In addition to bond funding, the Town is leveraging a $300,000 grant through the Great Trails State Program to begin planning the greenway segment in northeast Holly Springs.
The proposed greenway route is shown here; funding will study the alignment of the proposed greenway route for feasibility.
