Proclamations

Holly Springs proclamations are typically issued by the Mayor to recognize people, organizations, or events of importance to the Town of Holly Springs. Proclamations are issued at the sole prerogative of the Mayor and may be issued during a business meeting, at an event, or mailed to the recipient, at the Mayor’s discretion.

Guidelines:

Requests for proclamations should be made in writing to the Town Clerk’s office. Requests should be made at least a couple of weeks in advance. All requests should contain at a minimum, the date of the desired proclamation, the relevance to Holly Springs, and enough detail for the Mayor to make an informed decision. It has been the practice of the Town to recognize matters that are directly related to Holly Springs.
