Downtown Village District Area Plan Update

The Town is updating the long range plan that guides the growth, development, and redevelopment of downtown Holly Springs, also known as the Village District Area.

Through this update, the Town hopes to learn:

  • how the Downtown Village District Area can continue to grow and evolve in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
  • how to incentivize new opportunities
  • how the downtown area can continue to develop its sense of place in the community.

The plan covers Main Street from Third Street, where the post office is located, south past the hospital to N.C. 55. From east to west, the area is roughly sandwiched between Avent Ferry Road and Raleigh Street. While this area currently may be referred to as the “Downtown Village District,” that name may be updated based on feedback from the community.  Click here to learn more.
