Survey Shows Residents Give Town Services High Marks; Desire Improved Traffic & Growth Management

The results are in for the 2025 Town of Holly Springs Community Survey. This is the Town’s statistically valid survey, which provides a deep dive into resident feedback on Town services. Residents have a very positive perception of the Town with 95% of respondents saying Holly Springs is an excellent or good place to live. 94% rated Holly Springs as an excellent or good place to raise children.

Respondents rated satisfaction with major categories of Town services as very satisfied and satisfied at 95% for quality of fire services, 91% for quality of police services, 84% for quality of parks and greenways and 80% for quality of customer service from Town employees.

In fact, satisfaction with Town services is much higher in Holly Springs than in other communities. Holly Springs rates above the U.S. average in 44 of 46 areas with satisfaction for the overall quality of Town services at 34% above the U.S. average and satisfaction with customer service from Town employees 42% above the U.S. average.  

Top Community Priorities

While most residents appreciate the excellent quality of life in Holly Springs, they also took time to help the Town identify areas that should receive more attention. Top community priorities identified in the survey include management of traffic, management of growth/development, adequacy of street lighting, enforcing traffic laws, walking and biking trails, and maintenance of Town streets.

“We will be using residents’ direct feedback to help the Mayor and Council sharpen goals and continue to build a Town that reflects the community’s priorities,” said Holly Springs Town Manager Randy Harrington.

Trends from 2023-2025

Some highlighted trends that can be tracked from the Town’s prior 2023 citizen satisfaction survey to the recent 2025 survey include satisfaction increases in Parks & Recreation senior programs, quality of parks and greenways, Holly Springs as a place for seniors, quality of outdoor athletic fields, and the number of walking and biking trails.

“I’m proud of the Town staff’s commitment to serving the community,” said Mayor Mike Kondratick. “The survey results give us valuable information as we face the challenges of a growing municipality. Residents' feedback helps ensure our budget and energy are focused on areas that need it the most.”
