Citizen Police Academy

Applications are now open for the 2026 Citizens Police Academy. Apply by Feb. 6. Sessions for the 2026 academy are planned for Thursdays, Feb. 19-April 9.

About the Academy

The Citizen Police Academy is an extended, interactive program for Town residents to learn more about the Police Department’s organization and policies, as well as the constitutional and State laws that guide police operations and practices. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and participate in discussions.

Applicants must be able to commit to attending the free multi-week program that will meet at the Holly Springs Law Enforcement Center and must be Town residents. Select applicants will be screened, including a basic background check, before being accepted into the program.
